Putting Pain in the Rear View Mirror

Gus had to relinquish his job as a school bus driver because driving, lifting and other movements were sending piercing pain to his lower-back.

Back in the Driver's Seat

Gus started using the Select™ device daily. Electrodes applied to the lower-back region target the pain site and deliver stimuli that provide relief. Gus wears the device on his belt and operates it four times a day. The carry-over effect sustains him while the unit is not in use.

The Select device is a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS). It delivers stimulation to the pain site and provides localized relief by either blocking pain signals to the brain or signaling the body to release endorphins which may provide pain relief.
